Scene 7

Scene: on the playground of Hogwarts

Characters:

Harry——with sad look,

Ginny —— with deep concern

A large crowd of people—— shocked and sad

Harry knelt down next to Dumbledore's head, with a sad look on his face, and stared at the headmaster's lifeless body. Behind him was a large crowed of people, looking in their direction with shock and sadness.

Ginny emerged from the crowd, walked to Harry and squatted beside him.

Ginny(wispered, put her hand on Harry's shoulder):

"Harry......"

Harry shaked his head.

Ginny:

"Harry, you can't stay here......You can do nothing."

Harry grabbed Ginny's hand off her shoulder. Shaked his head again.

Ginny:

"We must leave."

Ginny grabbed Harry's hand and led him slowly to his feet. The two walked back. Harry looked back at Dumbledore and was led away by Ginny. They walked through the crowd.

Scene 8

Scene: in the Hogwarts School Hospital Wing

Characters:

Harry, Ginny——with sadness

Hermion,Ron, Tonks, Remus, other students in D.A. and some members of the order of Phoenix——They all look like they've been through battle.

Bill——Lying in bed, covered with a quilt, only his head was exposed. His face had many fresh scars, full of blood and unconscious.

Mr. Weasley, Mrs. Weasley, Fleur——Wearing dry and clean clothes, with pale and anxious faces.

In the school hospital wing, a group of people surrounded a bed. Bill Weasley lay unconscious, covered with blood and scars on his face.

Tonks and Remus sat at the bedside with their backs to the door. They seemed to keep some distance.

Harry and Ginny joined them and stood next to Remus.

Harry(shocked,staring at Bill):

"What's up?"

Remus:

"Fenril Greyback, the werewolf."

There was a dead silence.

Ron:

"But......Where's Dumbledore? He must take charge of bill. Bill joined the fight after his orders!"

Ginny(gently):

"Ron.....Dumbledore is dead."

A dead silence. Ron's face turned to shocked, so did other people's. Remus stood up abruptly.

Remus(Roar loudly):“Impossible!”

Remus turned his face to Harry, hoping he can deny it, but Harry looked at Remus, didn't deny it, and lowered his head to bill again.

Remus collapsed into the chair, his hands covering his face, he seemed out of control.

Tonks:

"But.....Who did it? Who killed Dumbledore?"

Harry(pursed his lips, hesitated):

"Snape."

A dead slience again.

Ron(shocked and angrily):

"It's him?!"

Tonks(shocked):

"How could it be Snape? Dumbledore said he always had unbreakable reasons to believe him."

 

There was a rush of footsteps, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasleys rushed in, followed by Fleur.

Fleur and Mrs. Weasley sat down next to bill, facing Tonks and Remus, and the door.

Mr. Weasley put his hand on Mrs. Weasley's shoulder, and all three gazed intently at Bill.

Their faces were all frightened and shocked.

Mrs. Weasley:

"Bill?"

Bill didn't respond, laying in the bed.

Mrs. Weasley(crying with tears):

"Werewolf... My God! My son will become a werewolf!”

Fleur began to cry with tears but sliently.

Remus:

"No,I don't think so. Greyback didn't turn into a wolf when he attacked bill. So I don't think Bill will become a real werewolf."

Mr. Weasley:

"Luck in misfortune......"

Remus:

“But he inevitably has some werewolf characteristics.”

Mrs. Weasley:

"Oh, my handsome son......with scars on his face, he was going to get married!"

Fleur(with anger):

"Was going to get married? WAS GOING TO? "

Everyone looked at her.

Fleur:

“A few scars won't affect Bill's love for me, or do you think I won't love him because of these scars?  It would take more zan a werewolf to stop Bill loving me!"

Mrs. Weasley:

"Well, yes, l am sure. but l thought perhaps……"

Fleur:

"l am good-looking enough for both of us! All these scars show is zat my husband is brave! I don't care about these!”

Mrs. Weasley stared at Fleur as if she had known her for the first day.

Mrs. Weasley(gently, with some comfort):

“My aunt, Muriel, has a very beautiful tiara, goblin made, which l am

sure I could persuade her to lend it to you for your wedding. She is very fond of Bill, you know, and it would look lovely with your hair.”

Fleur(stiffly):

"Thanks. I am sure zat will be lovely."

Two women were crying and hugging each other.

Tonks(shout at Remus):"You see!"

Tonks grabbed Remus by the arm and stared at him, her eyes shining.Everyone looked at both of them.

Tonks(eagerly, shaking Remus's arm):

"He was attacked by a werewolf, but she doesn't care. She still loves him. I told you millions of times, and I don't care. I DON"T CARE!”

Harry, Ginny, Hermione and Ron looked shocked.

Remus slowly freed his arm from Tonks's hand.

Remus(impatiently):

“It's different... Bill won't be a real werewolf. And I've told you millions of times. I'm too old, too poor and too dangerous......”

Tonks(violently):

"I DON'T CARE, IT DOESN"T MATTER!"

Remus(violently):

"No, it's realistic. Tonks deserves a young and healthy man who loves her."

Mrs Weasley:

"To me, Remus, your reasons are too clumsy. Besides, young and healthy men may not always be that way."

Mrs. Weasley sadly pointed to bill in bed with a bitter smile on her face.

Remus(at a loss):

"Uh......It is not appropriate to discuss this now. Dumbledore is dead......"

Professor McGonagall came to the middle of the crowd.

Hermione:

"Professor McGonagall!"

Prefessor McGonagall:

"If there were more love now, Dumbledore would be happier than anyone."

Professor McGonagall turned to Harry.

Harry:

"Professor."

Professor McGonagall:

"Come with me, Harry. We need to talk."

Professor McGonagall left, followed by Harry.

The others' eyes turned to Remus and Tonks, and Remus stared blankly at Bill in bed Tonks stared at Remus' toes and looked sulky.

Mr Weasley:

"You guys should go and have a rest. We'll stay here and look after Bill. Ron."

Ron:

"l'll stay here."

Tonks looked as if she had suddenly recovered from her meditation.

Tonks:

“l have to go. Sorry.”

She got up, pushed her chair away and nodded to the Weasleys They also quarreled, and she nodded Tonks turned and left.

Everyone looked at Remus. Mr. Weasley raised his chin at him. Remus, stunned, stood up and said something to the Weasleys.

Remus:

"Me too."

Mrs Weasley:

"Good luck."

Remus nodded at her and left.
