Scene 21

Scene: in Remus and Tonks's bedroom.

Character:

Remus——in his pajamas

Remus sat at his desk, writing a diary with happiness on his face.

Remus' inner voice:

“Today, my son was born. We named him Edward Remus Lupin. His nickname is Teddy. This is Dora's father's name. We asked Harry Potter to be his godfather. Today is the best day of my life. Fortunately, Teddy didn't inherit my werewolf blood. He inherited the ability of Metamorphmagus which can change his appearance like Dora.”

Remus was still writing. In his memory——

Andromeda:

“It's a boy!”

Remus:

"Great! Fortunately, Dora We have a son!"

Remus:

“How much he looks like you!”

Tonks:

"No, I think he looks more like you, Remus."

Remus:

“Look! His hair is changing color! Dark brown......black......blue, my God!”

Andromeda:

“Tonks's hair had been changing color since the first day of her birth, and her father and I were scared at that time.”

Remus:

“His must be a Metamorphmagus like you, Dora, my dear.”

Tonks:

"And a great wizard like you."

Scene 22

Scene: in a bedroom

Characters:

Tonks——in her home clothes

Remus——A robe worn outdoors

Tonks hummed a lullaby to a baby cradle. The door behind him was suddenly opened. Remus rushed in. Tonks looked back and stood up to look at Remus.

Tonks:

"Where are you going?"

Remus(seriously):

"I'm going out."

He stretched out his hand and pulled Tonks to the front of him.

Remus:

“I don't know when I'll be back You stay at home, don't go out, take care of yourself and Teddy, okay?”

Tonks(confused but smiled):

"Sure! What are you doing in such a hurry?"

Remus took her in his arms and held her tightly, one hand around her waist and one hand touching her pink hair.

Remus:

"l love you."

Tonks was surprised, but relaxed again and put his hands around Remus' waist.

Tonks:

“You are strange today. l love you.”

Remus held her for a second, let her go, touched Tonks' face with one hand and kissed her forehead.

Remus hurried away, and Tonks stared at his back thoughtfully.

Scene 23

Scene: in a living room

Characters:

Tonks——in her home clothes with a coat outside

Andromeda——in her home clothes

Remus——A robe worn outdoors

Andromeda was sitting on the sofa, her eyes straying at a photo.

Remus ran up to her.

Remus:

"Andromeda."

She regained her consciousness and looked up at Remus. Remus squatted down and took her hands.

Remus:

"Hogwarts is going to fight and I'm going to war. I beg you not to tell Dora that she has just given birth and Teddy still needs her. Don't let her go. Please."

Andromeda:

"Of course. But can you not go either? You don't have to go. Those people in the order of the Phoenix will solve the problem. You can stayand look after your family."

Remus shaked his head.

Remus:

"l am one of "those people in the order of Phoenix.". l must go."

Tonks leaned back against a wall and eavesdropped on the conversation in the living room. Her face grew pale, and then she made up her mind to go back to the crib in the room and bend down.

Tonks:

“Teddy, mom and dad are going to fight. Wait for us to come back. I swear we'll be back soon.”

Tonks kissed Teddy, left the room and went into the living room.

Tonks walked quickly into the living room and said a spell. A coat flew towards her. Tonks grabbed it.

Tonks:

“ My coat Accio! ”

Andromeda rushed up and grabbed the arm of Tonks, who was wearing her coat.

Andromeda(fiercely):

“Where are you going?”

Tonks:

“To Hogwarts.”

Andromeda:

"No you can't! Remus didn't want you to go!"

Tonks:

"l must go."

Andromeda:

"Teddy needs you!"

Tonks breast into teers. Stopped wearing coat. looked at her mother.

Tonks:

"No, mum! It's Remus who need me tonight. His is my husband, and the father of my son and your grandson. l can't leave him! l must go with him!"

Tonks:

"Mum, please. l must go. l must go......please."

Tonks:

"And l am an Auror and  a member of the order of Phoenix. lt's my duty, it's my duty to join the battle. "

Andromeda:

"You've just given birth to......"

Tonks:

"But l am ok! Mum. l'm sorry."

Andromeda hugged her daughter.

Andromeda:

"Okay......Okay......Be careful."

Tonks:

"Thank you, mum. l will. We will back soon. l promise."

Tonks buried his head deep in his mother's arms, and both of them shed tears.The two separated, and Tonks took her mother's hand.

Tonks:

“Please take care of yourself and Teddy.”

Andromeda:

"l will. "

Tonks left.
